I Couldn’t Miss The Local Flea Market
Even with my injury…see yesterday’s post…I had to go to the local flea market today. I knew I would be moving slow and Scott wouldn’t be able to join me for a few hours, but missing the market was not an option.
It was great! Scott and I saw some of our friends, made a new friend or two, and came away with great deals. I will be taking some of our bounty to the shop, but there will be interesting items listed in my eBay store, too. I promise to share some photos and information as the week goes on. One of my favorite finds of the day was a short stack of antique photographs. Another was a new box of Christmas dishes.
Several people helped me by holding my items at their booths until I could get back to pick them up. That way I didn’t have to carry much with me as I shopped. Most flea market folks that I meet at our monthly fairgrounds market are wonderful to deal with. Some even gave me some medical advice.
