I have set a personal goal to list at least 5 new auctions a day during this special. There are a lot of other obligations on my calendar this week, but with some creative scheduling and focus I can do it. I have been frustrated by low sales on eBay and increasing my listed inventory should make a difference.

I am not a regular Starbucks customer, but I plan to give their Frappuccino half price special a try. The sale is 3 to 5 p.m. each day May 4-13, 2012. According to their store locator – there are seven locations within easy driving distance of my home.

My family likes icy coffee drinks and we had some on our recent trip to Texas.  I am always in “save” mode and so it didn’t surprise anyone that my first taste of a McDonald’s Carmel Frappe was purchased with a buy one get one free coupon. That set the stage for me to become curious when I heard about this Starbucks promotion from Money Saving Mom. I wonder how the two drinks will compare?

I know the Starbucks deal is designed in part to bring people like me in the door…and it is working. I am even sharing the news because I thought you might want to go, too. I may even enter one of their daily contests by sending a photo on Twitter.  Check out the contest on their Frappuccino Coffee Drink site under the Community tab. It looks like fun. (Especially since I just recently started taking photos with my phone.)

My dilemma will be choosing a flavor. Any suggestions?

Coupons can be great for unplanned purchases or to add to vacation activities. McDonald’s buy one get one Frappe coupons added a frozen treat to our lunch stop on Thursday. A Bath and Body Works coupon for a free Fragrance Mist with any $10 purchase added some fun to my mall shopping on Friday. Since the mall is next door to our hotel we are going back on Saturday to use my Victoria Secret coupon. (My son is shopping for his wife and is using a VS coupon, too.)

We don’t necessarily plan our activities around coupons, but they sure help to stretch our travel dollars. Do you use coupons when away from home?

Twinings Tea sent me an email with a discount code and a request to spread the word. I keep a supply of tea at home for myself. Though I usually drink coffee, there are times that call for a relaxing cup of tea. Twinings is suggesting tea for Mothers Day gifts.

The 15% discount is off of a minimum order of $30. The code MD15 is to be entered at checkout and expires May 10, 2012.

I have tried several flavors of Magnum in the past and loved every single one!

I have already made a trip to my local Office Depot to shop for some of these new 100% Rewards deals. (You can order some of them online for home delivery, too.) If you are not already signed up for their rewards program – now is a good time! The rewards are given once a quarter, but it is worth the wait to get things like security envelopes, ink pens, and post it notes for FREE. Check it out HERE.

Speaking of good deals on office supplies…my fellow work from home folks may want to print the packing tape coupon found on the Duck Brand site. I also found coupons on bubble wrap and mailers as well as other products.

Tis the season to save when we can!

I stumbled across a good deal on Brother Ink that may be of interest to those of you printing packing slips, shipping labels, and internet coupons. Office Depot has shelf signs up but I didn’t see this sale advertised anywhere else. At my Office Depot in Lafayette Indiana: Buy 2 single Brother ink packs and get a free book of forever stamps – a value of $8.80.

Print this Staples coupon for savings on items that fit in the free eco bag. I plan to shop for things that I use in my home office, like ink and tape.
